the many alternative file managers to Windows Explorer, somewhat limited, Total Commander is a reference, often cited as
the descendant of the famous Norton Commander. His strength ? The double panel display, included in the Free Commander.
This view makes it possible to display two different directories, an advantage of which one immediately seizes the
interest, notably for the copying of files. The software also includes advanced features such as the ability to
synchronize two directories, search for duplicates, archive browsing (with many formats, unlike Windows that only
supports ZIP as standard) Integration of an FTP manager. Plug-ins can be added, such as OOSimple Viewer, a viewer for
Apache OpenOffice files.
